These concerns are valid and should be treated seriously. Importantly, the City’s statement does not deny that residents are experiencing problems or that the system is not down — it disputes the broad claims circulating online.
We urge residents not to panic and not to assume their payment will not be recorded. But if you notice any billing anomaly or you’re unable to make or verify payment, escalate immediately through official channels and keep a paper trail. We also call on the City to provide clear, frequent updates including what systems are affected, what timeframes apply, and what residents should do while issues are being resolved.

- Keep proof: retain receipts, proof of payment, and screenshots (date/time visible).
